FAQs for Van Owners

Why should I list my van with Kool Campers?

Kool Campers provides your vans with a shop window to those enthusiasts looking to enjoy the the pleasures of the open road. We're the only campervan portal that puts you in direct contact with your customers and doesn't charge a booking commission. For our listing service, we don't even charge a subscription. You get the benefits of a full page listing for each van along with a rate card, availability calendar and an enquiry form. Everything you need to get going.

Why is Kool Campers free to list?

Unlike the other portals, some of whom charge up to a 15% booking fee, Kool Campers is entirely free to list and use. We can do this because we already run a successful holiday rentals booking system, looking after 3,000 holiday homes. It’s called bookalet.co.uk. We noticed that a number of campervan rental companies were also using our bookalet system, which is where the idea of a niche, dedicated portal came from. We think that running a portal, apart from being fun, will encourage more users to sign up to our booking system.

What is the optional booking system?

You already get a rate card, availability calendar and enquiry form with each Kool Campers free account. However, should you want to be able to take online bookings and payments then you can upgrade at any time. This will also allow you to publish the booking forms on your own website and keep calendars synchronised. You can upgrade by logging into your Kool Campers account and clicking on Account Status.

How do I add my van(s)?

You simply register for your free account on the Kool Campers website. You'll then be sent an email containing your username and password. Login to this account and then add your van details along with some good quality photos. You then update the van availability and pricing (optional but recommended) and that's it; you're done. Finally, grab a beer, sit back and wait for those enquiries to start hitting the inbox.
